Ethereum core developer Dankrad Feist has suggested that the Ethereum community should establish a new organization aligned with the network's economic interests to revitalize its position. Feist highlighted that the Ethereum Foundation currently holds less than 0.1% of the total ETH supply and lacks income from staking or fees. He proposed creating an organization with a reliable funding source, starting with at least $1 billion, led by competitive leaders and governed by a board committed to ETH's growth. Feist emphasized the need for sustainable funding through staking income and a flexible governance mechanism, acknowledging that while this vision is challenging, it may be necessary for Ethereum's future.
