The discovery reveals a sophisticated supply chain attack where adversaries integrated cellular connectivity into authentic Ledger units without affecting normal device operation. This hardware-level compromise enables potential remote data exfiltration through the embedded LTE module while maintaining the appearance and functionality of genuine Ledger products.
