Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, has sold his holdings in altcoins PENDLE, ENA, and LDO to invest in Hyperliquid (HYPE). Hayes deposited 327,869 PENDLE worth $502,000 and 3.6 million ENA worth $499,000 into FalconX, subsequently purchasing 57,881 HYPE tokens for $1.91 million. His total HYPE holdings now stand at 131,807 tokens, valued at $4.33 million. The move comes as Hyperliquid's market structure shows bullish signs, with the price breaking out of a falling wedge and holding steady above the VWAP at around $36. This shift has attracted attention from traders, with smart DEX traders also increasing buying pressure. Despite the broader market's weak momentum, Hayes' investment in HYPE could signal a potential uptrend, although the altcoin remains volatile.
