Anthropic plans to sell shares to UK retail investors in its upcoming IPO through investment platform RetailBook, leveraging the UK's "Public Offer Platform" (POP) mechanism, which does not require preparing a full UK prospectus. Licensed POP operator RetailBook will coordinate the offering, allowing other investment platforms to submit orders through it. The AI company filed for its IPO on Monday, planning to list on Nasdaq under the ticker ANT. Its filing indicates that individual investors in the UK and parts of Europe will be able to participate in the subscription. The plans remain subject to adjustment as they are not yet finalized. Notably, SpaceX sold $364 million in shares to UK retail investors through the same POP mechanism in June 2026.
