The Prediction Championship runs four weekly rounds from April 23 to May 20, 2026. Each week, the top traders on two separate leaderboards win USDT rewards. First place takes 300 USDT. And the first 500 users to place their first prediction trade this week get up to 10 USDT in loss protection.

How It Works
The competition runs four consecutive weekly rounds. Each round is independent. You register once per week, trade prediction markets, and your performance is ranked against other participants.

To qualify for the rankings each week, you need to complete at least 10 Prediction Market trades and reach 500 USDT in trading volume during that round. Register on the event landing page before trading.
Two Leaderboards, Two Ways to Win
Each week runs two separate rankings. You compete on both simultaneously.
PnL Ranking measures your net realized profit from settled prediction market orders. The trader who makes the most USDT in profit during the week ranks first. This rewards traders who size their positions well and pick the right outcomes.
ROI Ranking measures your profit as a percentage of total prediction order amount. A trader who turns $100 into $180 (80% ROI) outranks a trader who turns $1,000 into $1,500 (50% ROI), even though the second trader made more in absolute dollars. This rewards efficient capital deployment and sharp probability reads.
Both leaderboards pay out independently. You could rank in the top 10 on both and collect two sets of rewards in the same week.
Prize Pool
The same prize structure applies every week, for both the PnL and ROI leaderboards:

Top three prizes are withdrawable USDT. 4th through 10th receive Trading Bonus (non-withdrawable, usable for trading). The structure repeats for all four weeks, meaning the competition distributes rewards across eight separate leaderboard snapshots.
First Trade Loss Protection
This is the part worth paying attention to if you haven't traded prediction markets yet.
From April 23 to April 28, 2026, the first 500 users who place their first-ever Prediction Market trade can qualify for loss protection. If your first trade loses, Phemex will rebate up to 10 USDT after verification.
The requirements: place your first prediction trade during this window and reach at least 100 USDT in cumulative Prediction Market trading volume during Week 1. That volume threshold is lower than the 500 USDT needed for leaderboard ranking, so you can qualify for loss protection even if you don't hit the leaderboard minimum.

How to Enter
Step 1: Log into your Phemex account. Complete KYC if you haven't already.
Step 2: Go to the Prediction Championship event page and register for Week 1.
Step 3: Navigate to the Prediction Market and start trading. You need at least 10 trades and 500 USDT in volume to qualify for the leaderboards.
Step 4: Track your ranking on the event page. PnL and ROI leaderboards update every 10 minutes.
Step 5: Repeat each week. Registration resets every round, so register again at the start of each new week to stay in the competition.
Strategy Tips for the Championship
For PnL Ranking: Absolute profit wins. Look for high-volume markets where you have strong conviction and size your positions accordingly. Crypto price markets and major geopolitical markets tend to offer the clearest opportunities for larger directional bets.
For ROI Ranking: Efficiency wins. Find markets where you believe the probability is significantly mispriced and buy shares at low prices. A $0.15 Yes share that resolves correctly returns 567%. You don't need large positions to rank well on ROI. You need sharp reads on underpriced outcomes.
For First Trade Loss Protection: If you're new to prediction markets, start with a market you understand well. Pick a crypto price prediction or a macro event you follow closely. Place your first trade, then build toward 100 USDT in volume during the week. If your first trade loses, the rebate covers up to $10 of that loss. If it wins, you keep the profit and the loss protection was a safety net you didn't need.
What You Need to Know

Qualifying volume. 10 trades and 500 USDT in prediction market volume per week for leaderboard ranking. 100 USDT for first trade loss protection.
Reward timing. Trading Bonus rewards and loss protection rebates are distributed after final verification at the end of each weekly round.
Tie-breaking. For PnL Ranking ties, the trader with more trades wins. For ROI Ranking ties, the trader with higher absolute profit wins.
