Our Arweave (AR) price prediction puts the base case at $3.0-$3.9 for 2026 and $4.8-$9.4 for 2030. AR is the coin of a network that stores data permanently for a single upfront payment. Getting to the 2030 range depends on more people paying for that storage, since almost every coin in its mining schedule is already out.
AR's 2026 rebound was real but small by its own standards. The coin roughly tripled from its March low to a September high, about a quarter of the 12.7-fold climb it made from October 2023 to May 2024. Even after a 6% gain on the day of the early-November close, AR finished about 15% under the October 2023 low where that run began.

Is Arweave Dead?
Not as a network. Arweave's miners added 685 blocks on the day of AR's 6% gain, near the 720 a day that its two-minute block target aims for.
Each of those blocks earned its miner about 0.135 new AR, so the day added roughly 92 coins. The reward halves about once a year, and by the protocol's mining reward formula only about 51,000 AR were left to mine.
Arweave started with 55 million AR in its first block, and mining adds 11 million more over time, which is where the scheduled supply of about 66 million comes from. Our explainer on what Arweave is covers how the one-time upload fee keeps paying miners after that.
The developers kept shipping as well. Release 2.9.6, published on 7 September 2026, ended a grace period for an old transaction format that had run since April 2020. It was a soft fork, a rule change that narrows what the network accepts, and it took effect six days later. Release 2.9.7 followed on 21 October with bug fixes and faster, steadier syncing of stored data between nodes.
AR jumped about 37% on 18 September and another 21% the next day, within a week of the fork. The release notes describe a change for node operators and don't mention the coin's price, so we don't tie the jump to the fork.
Where Arweave looks closest to dead is the price. After a slide this long, you'd ask if the March low was capitulation at a market bottom, the last wave of panic selling before a turn. AR's own past rebounds are the best guide.
How Far Has AR Fallen, and How Far Did It Rebound?
AR finished about 96% under its record close of $86.28 from 4 November 2021 on CoinMarketCap, and it has lost more than 95% twice since that record.

On CoinMarketCap's closes, AR fell to $3.77 by October 2023 and then ran to $48.05 by May 2024. It slid to $1.53 in March 2026 and climbed to $4.79 in September before giving back a third.
Each leg but the last runs from one of AR's biggest closing highs or lows to the next. Phemex's own AR markets closed within about two cents of CoinMarketCap at every turning point from October 2023 on.
So AR has crashed hard and rebounded hard, but the 2026 bounce reached only about a quarter of the last run's multiple. Until AR closes back above the $3.77 floor that run started from, we'd read the 2026 move as a rally inside a long slide.
Can Arweave Reach $100?
Nothing in AR's own price record points that high. $100 is about 31 times AR's $3.20 close and above its November 2021 record close, and AR has never traded that high on CoinMarketCap, where its intraday peak was $90.94.
Our widest 2030 range tops out at $15.76, a close from December 2024, so $100 sits more than six times above even that. A repeat of the 2023-2024 climb from $3.20 would reach only about $41. That's why we treat $100 as outside anything the record supports.
Arweave Price Prediction 2026
For the rest of 2026, the base case is $3.02-$3.92. AR has to hold $3.02, the lowest it had closed since the September jump, and climb back toward its 50-day average.

A close over the 50-day puts the September high in play
|
The longer trend still pointed up. AR moved above its 200-day average, the mean of the last 200 daily closes, on 20 August and finished about 25% above it. The 50-day crossed over the 200-day on 5 September, a golden cross on CoinMarketCap's closes.
The shorter trend had turned down. AR fell under its 50-day average on 22 October and closed about 18% beneath that line, which sat near $3.92.
A close over $3.92 that fails within days would be a bull trap or fake breakout, so we'd want a few closes above it before trusting a run at the September high.
Arweave Price Prediction 2027
The 2027 base case is about $3.20 to $4.79, and it needs AR to hold $3.20 as a floor while it retests the September high. A close above $4.79 that holds would be AR's highest since November 2025 and the first real sign that the slide has turned.
Arweave Price Prediction 2028
For 2028, the base case is about $3.55 to $6.18. Getting there needs more paid storage on Arweave and more apps on AO, the computer that runs on the Arweave network, so that buyers come back to the coin.
Arweave Price Prediction 2030
The 2030 base case is about $4.80 to $9.40, or roughly one and a half to three times AR's $3.20 close. It starts at the September 2026 high and tops out at a price AR closed at in April 2023.
By the end of 2030 the mining reward will have halved about four more times, leaving almost none of the scheduled 66 million to issue. The price will rest mostly on demand for Arweave storage, and paid uploads are what we'd track. The 2029 row below asks AR to trade between its January 2026 high and a price it closed at in January 2024, early in its last big run.

From 2027 on, every figure in this table is a price AR has actually closed at. The $1.53 floor in each full range from 2027 is AR's March 2026 low.

What Could Hold AR Back?
-
Little trading on Phemex. About 22,300 USDT of AR changed hands on Phemex's spot pair on the day of that 6% rise, against about 161,000 USDT on the day of the September high. When so little trades, one large order is a big share of the day, so it pays to plan your stop-loss and take-profit orders before you buy.
-
No hedge on Phemex. With the perpetual gone, you can't offset a spot holding with an AR futures contract on Phemex. The AR / USDT spot pair is the exchange's listed AR market.
-
Storage demand has to do the lifting. With new coins close to running out, slowing issuance has little left to give. A recovery needs more paid uploads over time, and AR's two falls of more than 95% since 2021 show how far the price can drop.
How to Get Exposure to AR on Phemex
Phemex lists AR against USDT as a spot pair, and its AR perpetual was delisted on 12 August 2026 after a notice earlier that month. Phemex's futures markets cover other coins. Futures use leverage, and a leveraged position is closed automatically if losses reach its margin, a process called liquidation in crypto trading.
-
Open a Phemex account and move USDT into your spot account.
-
Open the AR / USDT spot pair on the trading screen.
-
Use a limit order, which sets the most you'll pay, since daily volume on the pair was small.
-
Size the position for a coin that rose more than 20% in a single day twice in September 2026.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Arweave a good investment?
That's a call only you can make. Weigh a working network, a supply that's almost fully issued and a price that closed early November about 96% under its 2021 record on CoinMarketCap.
Why did Arweave fall in 2026?
AR's 2026 fall came early, about 55% from the end of 2025 to its 1 March low near $1.53 on CoinMarketCap. That low extended a slide from the May 2024 peak. AR then tripled by September and had lost about a third of its September high by early November.
Does Arweave have a token unlock?
No. AR is the native coin of Arweave's own chain, with no vesting schedule or cliff attached. Its 55 million genesis coins existed from the first block, and every AR since has come from mining. Each mining reward is held for about 30 days before the miner can spend it.
Bottom Line
Arweave isn't dead as a network, and its coin looks more like a survivor of two crashes than a recovery story.
The level we'd watch is $3.77, the October 2023 low where AR's last big run began. AR closed above it on most days in the month after the September jump, then slipped back under it in late October and stayed there. A few closes above it and then above $3.92 would change our view, and a break of the 200-day average would point back toward the March low.
