X100, a DeFi protocol on Ethereum, suffered a sustained attack that drained approximately 4.85 million USDT across two transactions, according to security firm Blockaid's monitoring as of October 24. The attack was still ongoing at the time of Blockaid's 22:49 alert. One attacker seized two of X100's three "Senate" governance seats and sold 400,000 X tokens from the project's vault into an empty liquidity pool they created. A second attacker then destroyed the Uniswap V3 liquidity position held by X100's "Freezer" contract. Blockaid has published the relevant attack addresses and sample transactions for further investigation.
