Patrick Witt, Executive Director of President Trump's Digital Asset Advisory Council, warned that the window of opportunity for the Clarity Bill is closing ahead of a procedural vote scheduled for September 15. Witt said that if the procedural vote fails next week, “no one can say” when the bill will get another chance. He called for bipartisan support, saying a failed motion would not deliver the result anyone wants and urging lawmakers to “join the bill and let’s continue the conversation.”
