Payment infrastructure provider Walapay has completed a $4.6 million seed funding round led by Gen Venture Capital. The round included participation from Commerce Ventures, Polygon, AAF Management, Verda Ventures, NGC Ventures, FGV Capital, JSquare, Reflexive, and Big Brain VC. Walapay will deploy the capital to secure additional regulatory licenses, expand its banking partnerships, and grow its team as it scales its payment infrastructure operations.
