On April 25, 2026, the Litecoin network experienced a temporary chain split due to invalid MWEB transactions. f2pool identified the issue and continued mining on the valid chain, adhering to the correct consensus rules. After a 13-block chase, the valid chain successfully caught up. Starting from block 3,095,931, f2pool mined crucial blocks that enabled the valid chain to surpass the invalid fork, resulting in a natural reorganization back to the correct chain.
