DTCC launched its tokenization platform on Wednesday, delivering on the October timeline it announced in May. The system went live with 34 securities ready to tokenize at launch, according to DTCC's own page. The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation plans to expand blockchain support in 2027, adding more networks beyond the initial set of chains powering the service.
