Cognition AI completed a $2 billion funding round that lifted its post-investment valuation to $48 billion. The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz, Accel, Founders Fund, General Catalyst, and Avenir. The AI coding startup was valued at $26 billion three months earlier. Cognition said annualized revenue rose from $492 million in May to nearly $900 million, driven by its core AI engineering agent, Devin.
