Julian Sawyer will step down as CEO of institutional digital asset custodian Zodia Custody and transition to a strategic advisor role. He will also no longer serve as CEO of Zodia Solutions, a role announced in May. Sawyer told employees in a September 10 memo that Standard Chartered’s acquisition of Zodia’s custody business and the creation of Zodia Solutions marked a natural point to hand over daily leadership. Chief Revenue Officer Richard Clark will lead the business transition to Standard Chartered and oversee custody operations, while Craig Perrin and Anoosh Arevshatian will lead development of Zodia Solutions.
