Zetrix AI Bhd., a Malaysian digital infrastructure services provider, has secured $40 million in equity funding from the International Finance Corp., a World Bank investment arm. The investment will support the expansion of Zetrix's digital infrastructure across Malaysia, Southeast Asia, and other emerging markets.
In addition, Zetrix plans to spin off its AI business unit, AI Foundation Lab, for a Nasdaq listing by the end of 2026. The collaboration with the World Bank will focus on advancing projects related to Malaysia's national digital identity system and blockchain service network.
