Crypto infrastructure company Zerohash has resubmitted its application for a national trust bank charter to the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency after its initial filing was returned. The company received a formal return notice in July saying the application had substantive deficiencies.
Zerohash said the new application has been significantly narrowed and will focus more on national trust activities aligned with its launch timeline. The OCC is seeking public comments on the application, with a deadline of September 17.
