The Zcash Foundation (ZF) has assumed management of three critical community assets previously overseen by ZODL. As of May 7, ZF now manages the Zcash GitHub organization, the z.cash website and domain, and the @Zcash account on the X platform. This transition allows ZF to directly oversee access rights and codebase governance for the GitHub organization, while maintaining existing contributor permissions and keeping the codebase open source.
Daily operations for the z.cash website and the @Zcash account will be managed by community contributor ZecHub under a multi-year collaboration agreement. Additionally, the z.cash domain has been redirected to zechub.wiki. ZF aims to enhance coordination and establish clear long-term accountability through this strategic move.
