Zama, a privacy computing firm, has acquired TokenOps, an enterprise-grade token management platform, to integrate fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) into token management processes. This acquisition aims to enhance token distribution, vesting schedules, and identity management using FHE technology.
TokenOps, which has managed over $2 billion in distributed assets, supports confidential token operations based on the ERC-7984 standard. Its solutions are already operational in KAIO's production environment, with notable partners such as BlackRock, Hamilton Lane, and Brevan Howard. Despite the acquisition, TokenOps will maintain its independent brand identity.
