The Flare XRPFi yield vault, integrated with Xaman Wallet, has reached its capacity just days after launch, highlighting growing demand for XRP-based yield products. The vault, which allows XRP holders to earn yield through the tokenized asset FXRP, filled up with 25 million XRP, equivalent to approximately $33.9 million, offering a 3.4% APY. Xaman founder Wietse Wind confirmed the vault's rapid subscription and announced plans to expand its capacity. Flare data indicates that over 5,400 XRP holders, many new to DeFi, participated in the vault, with 98% actively using DeFi for the first time. The integration with Xaman's Flare Smart Accounts facilitated easy access to on-chain yield, driving swift deposits. Despite suggestions to sell XRP, Wind emphasized the asset's long-term value, reflecting a broader shift in XRP's use from cross-border payments to yield generation in DeFi.
