XRP whales, holding between 10 million and 100 million tokens, have increased their cumulative balance to an all-time high of 11.33 billion XRP, valued at over $15 billion. This accumulation comes despite a broader market downturn, as these large investors capitalize on lower prices. The accumulation trend began in August 2025, following a price drop from XRP's peak of $3.6 in July 2025.
While large whales have been buying, smaller XRP holders, with balances between 100,000 and 1 million tokens, have reduced their holdings. Their share of the XRP supply has decreased from 10.29% in July 2025 to 9.53% currently. XRP's price has struggled, dropping 63% from its peak to $1.33, marking a 27.46% decline this year alone.
