The stablecoin supply on the XRP Ledger (XRPL) has surged by 100% since December 2025, reaching $568.9 million as of March 20, 2026, according to Artemis data. This growth, despite minor fluctuations in January and February, highlights the evolving utility of the XRPL, which now holds approximately 0.18% of the global stablecoin supply. In addition to stablecoin growth, the number of wallet addresses holding less than 100 XRP has reached a record 5.66 million, indicating increased retail participation. However, open interest in XRP has declined from $4.05 billion in December 2025 to $2.32 billion, suggesting a cautious approach among traders despite rising on-chain activity.
