XRP Ledger’s Batch V1.1 upgrade is one validator vote away from reaching the threshold required for activation. The upgrade would allow users to bundle up to eight related transactions into a single operation, including swaps designed to ensure both sides of a token exchange settle together.
A snapshot showed 27 of 35 trusted validators supporting the proposal, or about 77%, just below the 80% support required for XRP Ledger amendments. Support must remain above that threshold for 14 days before activation. RippleX said Monday it fixed 11 additional vulnerabilities involving signatures, authorization checks and issues that could crash servers. An earlier Batch proposal was found to allow attackers, under certain conditions, to include transactions from other accounts without approval, and that version never went live.
