Despite UK government sanctions imposed at the end of March, the Chinese black market platform Xinbi Guarantee continues to operate on Telegram, according to blockchain analysis firm Elliptic. The platform, accused of facilitating crypto scams, money laundering, and human trafficking, has reportedly enabled illegal transactions totaling $21 billion. In the 19 days following the sanctions, Xinbi Guarantee processed approximately $505 million in transactions and gained tens of thousands of new users, bringing its total user base close to 500,000.
