Xiaomi MiMo launched MiMo Desktop, its first AI desktop client built for real-world work scenarios, and opened a limited-time beta test. Users can apply for free trials of the next-generation preview models MiMo-X-Pro-Preview and MiMo-X-Flash-Preview through the application page. MiMo Desktop can directly read tables, images, videos, PDFs and other materials, then decompose tasks and invoke tools to generate editable documents, spreadsheets, PPTs, web pages, 3D models and software engineering projects. The app includes built-in “Smart” scheduling for routing between models and agents, browser control for searches, form filling and web page verification, plus context caching and partial editing to manage long-task costs.
