The issue arose from recent updates to X platform's search and web retrieval systems, which inadvertently disrupted the caching mechanism, leading to increased token consumption and delayed responses. Following internal monitoring and testing, xAI's engineering team quickly identified and fixed the problem, ensuring users can now utilize their accounts without unexpected quota depletion.
