Worldcoin has announced a significant reduction in the daily unlock volume of its WLD tokens, effective July 24, 2026. The daily unlock will decrease from approximately 5.1 million tokens to 2.9 million, marking a 43% reduction. Specifically, community tokens will see a 50% decrease in daily unlocks from 3.2 million to 1.6 million, while team and investor tokens will experience a 32% reduction from 1.9 million to 1.3 million. The tokens will continue to be unlocked on a linear daily basis, avoiding any single-day concentrated releases. As of April 10, 2026, Worldcoin has unlocked 4.9 billion WLD tokens, representing 49% of the total supply of 10 billion, with a circulating supply of 3.3 billion tokens.
