The World Data Organization (WDO) has officially commenced operations following its inaugural general meeting in Beijing. During the meeting, the WDO approved its bylaws and elected its first board of directors and supervisors. The board subsequently convened to elect the organization's leadership and ratify essential rules and regulations, finalizing the establishment of the WDO. Headquartered in Beijing, the WDO is the first international organization dedicated to advancing data development and governance practices globally. This marks a significant step in fostering international collaboration in the field of data management.
