The World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization has been officially established in Shanghai, with 29 countries from Asia, Africa, Latin America, and Europe signing the founding agreement. China is set to expedite the organization's operational launch. The organization will focus on three key areas: enhancing international cooperation in AI capacity building through policy exchanges and technical collaboration; creating a supply-demand matching platform to integrate countries' resources and foster an open-source ecosystem; and supporting global initiatives like the UN's Sustainable Development Goals to establish a fair AI governance system. The agreement outlines the organization's purpose, principles, and decision-making processes, providing a legal framework for its operations.
