World Liberty Financial Inc. (WLFI) has blacklisted 272 cryptocurrency wallets in response to a rise in phishing attacks and wallet compromises. The Trump family–backed organization emphasized that the measure is protective, not punitive, aiming to shield users from malicious activities. Of the blacklisted wallets, 215 were linked to phishing incidents, while 50 were blacklisted at users' requests due to account compromises. WLFI is collaborating with affected users to secure and relocate their assets, and plans to maintain transparency by sharing outcomes after reviews are completed.
