Since its introduction on May 7, the feature has been activated over 1.58 million times, with approximately 768,000 instances associated with phishing and fund theft. EIP-7702 was intended to enhance security by temporarily converting user accounts into smart contract wallets, but its misuse highlights significant vulnerabilities.
