WebX International Holdings, a Hong Kong-listed firm, has announced its transformation into a Bitcoin Accumulation Company (BAC) following its first bitcoin purchase. The acquisition was made through a partnership with HashKey, a licensed virtual asset financial services group. This strategic move aims to position bitcoin as a core reserve asset for WebX, facilitating long-term growth in BTC and share value. Abraham Gomez, founder of ASL and an investor in WebX, highlighted the company's plans to accumulate bitcoin through various channels. WebX, which has received investments from Sopris Capital and Blockware CEO Mason Jappa, intends to expand its operations in computing power services, crypto asset securitization, and Web3 finance. The company aspires to become a leading innovator in bitcoin financial services both in Hong Kong and globally.
