VivoPower International (NASDAQ: VVPR) has announced a $300 million joint venture with South Korean asset management firm Lean Ventures to acquire and hold shares in Ripple Labs. The agreement, facilitated by VivoPower's digital asset division, Vivo Federation, has received approval from Ripple Labs for the purchase of initial preferred shares. VivoPower is also negotiating with institutional shareholders for further acquisitions, targeting a total investment of approximately $300 million.
Under the terms of the agreement, VivoPower expects to earn around $75 million in economic benefits over three years through management fees and performance incentives, without utilizing its own balance sheet. South Korea is recognized as a key strategic market for XRP holdings.
