Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has predicted that the notion of unavoidable software bugs will become obsolete by the 2030s. Buterin acknowledged that many software applications will continue to have vulnerabilities due to the prioritization of functionality over absolute correctness. However, he emphasized that if truly bug-free code is required, it will be achievable in the future.
