Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has reportedly incurred a loss of approximately $80 million following a significant drop in ether (ETH) prices. The decline in ETH, from around $3,900 to $3,150 over five days, has impacted Buterin's holdings, which include over 241,000 ETH valued at about $796 million. The price has since slightly recovered to $3,340. Buterin's wealth is primarily held in ETH, with some deposited on the DeFi platform Aave, and he also possesses various tokens such as WHITE, MOODENG, KNC, DINU, REPV2, and USDC. The recent downturn in ETH is part of a broader market sell-off driven by macroeconomic uncertainties.
