Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, along with Yoav Weiss and Marissa Posner, has released the 'Trustless Manifesto,' advocating for decentralized systems to adhere to three core principles: no critical secrets, no indispensable intermediaries, and no unverifiable results. The manifesto outlines a vision for systems that operate without reliance on trust, emphasizing transparency and security. DeepSafe is highlighted as an engineering practice that aims to implement these principles through a combination of Multi-Party Computation (MPC) and Trusted Execution Environments (TEE), random committees, zero-knowledge proofs, and on-chain auditable processes. This approach seeks to establish a trustless verification layer that aligns with the manifesto's guidelines.
