According to Buterin, the integration of ZK-EVMs (Zero-Knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machines) and PeerDAS (Peer-to-Peer Data Availability Sampling) now allows for the simultaneous achievement of decentralization, consensus, and high bandwidth. This development could significantly enhance the scalability and efficiency of blockchain networks, addressing a critical challenge in the industry.
