The Linux Foundation, in collaboration with Visa, Mastercard, and 40 other organizations, has launched the x402 payment standard. This initiative aims to streamline stablecoin transactions, having already processed approximately 75 million transactions worth $24 million in the past 30 days. The x402 standard is expected to enhance the efficiency and adoption of stablecoin payments across various platforms.
