Virtuals Protocol has launched EconomyOS, a new feature that provides AI agents with dedicated email inboxes, enabling them to autonomously handle transactional communications such as one-time passwords and verification links. This development allows AI agents to independently sign up for services and manage purchase confirmations, bridging the gap between onchain and off-chain economic activities. Operating on the Ethereum Layer 2 network Base, Virtuals Protocol aims to position itself as a key infrastructure provider for AI agents functioning as economic entities. The platform has facilitated over 1.77 million jobs and generated approximately $479 million in "Agentic GDP." With around 17,000 agents in its ecosystem, Virtuals Protocol continues to expand its influence in the AI and blockchain sectors.
