Vietnam's Ministry of Finance has announced plans to initiate the country's official crypto asset market by the third quarter of 2026. Deputy Minister Nguyễn Đức Chi revealed at the "Digital Trust in Finance 2026" forum that the market will be managed by state agencies to ensure safety and transparency. The Ministry has issued Resolution No. 05, establishing the first legal framework for the domestic crypto asset market. Additionally, five entities have been approved by the Ministry of Public Security and the State Bank to prepare for service provision.
