Vercel CEO Guillermo Rauch announced the company's readiness for an IPO, highlighting significant growth driven by AI-generated applications. Speaking at the HumanX conference in San Francisco, Rauch noted that Vercel's annualized revenue surged from $100 million in early 2024 to $340 million by February 2026. This growth is largely attributed to the rise of AI agents, with 30% of applications on Vercel's platform now originating from AI deployments. Vercel, which completed a $300 million Series F funding round in September 2025, reaching a $9.3 billion valuation, competes with Cloudflare and AWS in hosting services. Despite a generally frozen tech IPO market, Rauch's statement underscores Vercel's confidence in its market position and the expanding infrastructure market. He emphasized that AI is democratizing application development, positioning Vercel as a key player in providing a "home" for this software.
