VanEck's September report reveals that Digital Asset Trusts (DAT) have surged to approximately $135 billion, driven by institutional accumulation and staking of Ethereum (ETH). This trend poses a dilution risk for non-staking ETH holders as more institutions engage in staking activities. In December, Ethereum's Fusaka upgrade is set to enhance the network's efficiency by expanding blob capacity. This upgrade aims to reduce Layer-2 rollup costs and enable nodes to validate blocks through probabilistic sampling, thereby improving Ethereum's blob efficiency.
