The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has entered into a $3 billion Blanket Purchase Agreement with Palantir to bolster the National Farm Security Action Plan and the "One Farmer, One File" digital initiative. This agreement aims to integrate farm security into the national security framework and enhance service delivery to farmers. Palantir's Landmark platform will serve as the backbone, consolidating USDA's legacy systems into a unified data foundation. The deal builds on the success of the Farmer Bridge relief program, which Landmark supported earlier this year, enabling rapid online registration and disbursement of $4.4 billion to farmers. The new agreement introduces self-service tools for farmers to report acreage and apply for disaster recovery online, as well as mobile tools for field staff to expedite application reviews and disbursements.
