A U.S. federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit against Binance, its CEO Changpeng Zhao, and Binance US, which accused them of facilitating the movement of cryptocurrency funds for terrorist groups. The court ruled that the plaintiffs failed to establish a plausible connection between the exchange's activities and specific terrorist attacks. Following the ruling, Changpeng Zhao stated that centralized exchanges (CEXs) have no incentive to assist terrorists, as such activities generate minimal trading revenue and funds are typically withdrawn quickly. Zhao emphasized the lack of financial motivation for exchanges to engage in such conduct.
