The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) has forecasted the average price of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil for 2026 to be $73.61 per barrel. This marks a significant increase from the previous projection of $53.42 per barrel. Additionally, the EIA's March forecast for the annual average price of Brent crude oil is set at $78.84 per thousand cubic feet, up from the earlier estimate of $57.69 per thousand cubic feet.
