The U.S. Dollar Index, which tracks the dollar against six major currencies, fell by 0.28% to 98.764 on March 5, according to Finviz data. In forex trading, the euro rose to $1.1625 from $1.1603, while the British pound increased to $1.3351 from $1.3334. The dollar weakened against the Japanese yen, trading at 157.15 yen compared to 157.76 yen previously. It also fell against the Swiss franc and Swedish krona, exchanging at 0.78 francs and 9.1761 kronor, respectively. Meanwhile, the dollar slightly strengthened against the Canadian dollar, trading at 1.3669 CAD.
