The oversight powers will be used to examine business dealings of large corporations, government officials, and the Trump family. Prior to the midterm elections, Bloomberg reported that Amazon, Apple, Comcast, Meta, Microsoft, and Nvidia had already received inquiry letters from Democratic lawmakers regarding donations made toward Trump's ballroom events.
