South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Upbit has designated Boundless (ZKC) as an "investment warning" coin and suspended its deposit services, effective from 20:30 Beijing time on October 2nd. This decision follows a joint evaluation by the Digital Asset Exchange Association (DAXA), which identified significant issues with ZKC's circulation plan, transparency, and information disclosure.
Upbit's assessment revealed that ZKC's actual circulation volume exceeded its original plan, prompting discussions with the project team. However, these concerns remain unresolved. The investment warning status will be in effect until October 17th, during which Upbit will conduct further reviews. If the issues persist, Upbit may consider delisting ZKC.
