UniSat has launched a new UTXO cleanup tracking tool aimed at improving the efficiency of the Bitcoin network. This tool includes a dashboard, a scoring system, and a leaderboard to monitor user contributions towards reducing UTXO fragmentation. By addressing fragmentation, the tool enhances network performance without requiring any changes to the Bitcoin protocol. The upgrade supports both Bitcoin and Fractal, featuring a one-click merge function to streamline the process. To encourage participation, UniSat is running a Christmas challenge that will continue until January 1, incentivizing users to contribute to the cleanup effort.
