British hacker Danny, also known as Meech, has reportedly been arrested by authorities in Dubai, according to monitoring by ZachXBT. Danny, whose real name is Danish Zulfiqar or Khan, is suspected of having his crypto assets seized, with approximately $18.58 million currently held in a wallet starting with 0xb37d. He was allegedly involved in the $243 million theft from Genesis creditors in August 2024 and the Kroll SIM swap incident in August 2023, which led to the exposure of personal information of BlockFi, Genesis, and FTX creditors, resulting in over $300 million in social engineering scams.
