Fasial Tariq, a UK entrepreneur known for launching the cryptocurrency projects Paradox Coin and Paradox Metaverse, has been linked to an illegal weight loss drug production and distribution network in Northampton. This network, described as one of the largest globally, was uncovered by the UK's Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) in October 2025. Despite the scale of the operation, no arrests have been made yet. The Paradox projects had previously faced scrutiny from crypto investigators like Coffeezilla. The MHRA has stated that investigations are ongoing.
