Ruya, an Islamic bank in the UAE, has launched a platform for Bitcoin investment, partnering with regulated digital asset infrastructure provider Fuze. This makes Ruya the first Islamic bank to allow customers to buy and sell Bitcoin through a mobile application. According to the Chainalysis 2024 Crypto Geography Report, the UAE saw over $30 billion in cryptocurrency inflows from July 2023 to June 2024, marking a 42% increase year-over-year.
